Hello I'm back with more Wedding Recaps!

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Mine was good, dinner was wonderful and the weekend was very nice and relaxing....didn't want it to end!

So onto the wedding pics! Here is a picture of the sanctuary before the ceremony nice and empty!

And here is a picture of it at the end of the ceremony, we really filled it up!

Here is a pick of the programs that my mom and I made. I created the template and then bought the paper from Office Max for like $12 and then bought the ribbon on ebay for I think $8...they turned out great! My sweet mama tied all the ribbons on, it was a labor of love!

Here is a picture of the tartan ribbon that I bought and gave to the florist to create these beautiful bows for the first four rows! I love the way they turned out.

Here's a pic of the flower arrangements that were at the front of the Church! I absolutely was in love with them, they were exactly what I had envisioned and I couldn't have been happier!

Okay here is, hands down, the bargain of my wedding! I knew I wanted to incorporate the unity candles into the ceremony, I just love what they represent. Well for some reason this was a detail that I kept to the last minute and didn't really put a lot of thought into it. So a couple weeks before the wedding I was in Wal-Mart and went to the craft section......and there were these unity candle sets on clearance and I think I paid $5 for the the two side candles and the main unity candle!!!! Seriously $5!!! And the stands were just stands that I had bought at Target probably 5 years ago!!

(I'm for hire if you'd like me to find serious bargains for you as well!) ; )

This is a picture of one of my flower girls baskets that I got from Michael's for $7 (on clearance) and my pearls that I wore and my earings that Hubby had made for me!

Here's another picture of the girls baskets and my garter that my mama gave me at my second shower, along with my pearls.

*note-we never actually got to the garter and flower toss, the night got away from us, but in the end it wasn't a big deal at all.

Here's my guest book that was at the ceremony, another gift from my mama, I believe she gave this to me the Christmas before we got married.

So here's my bag...............it's from H&M and I paid $19.99 for it! I also have it in white that I use in the spring/summer......

And I've seen some lovely ladies take it one step further and show what's inside their purse so I thought I'd share as well because I don't know about ya'll but I'm nosy like that!

So that's my planner, list maker, wallet from Target, vera checkbook cover and vera makeup bag, cell phone, sunglasses, gloves, anti-bac in apple, up top is my starbucks gift card, nail file, lip glosses that I couldn't fit in my makeup bag, and lastly my mase that I've had since college...a girl can never be too careful.....

And in my makeup bag is my emergency glasses and contact case, clinique powder, lipgloss, lipstick, smashbox lipgloss, benefit lipstick, rimmell lipstick, revlon lipgloss, lipsmackers lipgloss, two sample perfumes, can't remember what they are...

Co-worker: oh well it doesn't look bad.

Oh my gosh ya'll this literally just happened, you know you're white trash when you let your roots grow out to the point that people are making comments on it! Excuse me while I go and make a hair appointment!

Valentines Dinner Menu

In an attempt to be frugal, I've planned a nice romantic dinner at home for Valentines Day.....plus this way we won't have to fight the crowds, especially since V-day falls on a Saturday this year.

So here is the menu that I've come up with!

We'll be drinking FatBastard Chardonnay
This wine is great and won't break the bank. It's actually the wine that hubby and I drank the first time he ever cooked me dinner. So it has sentimental meaning.

I'll be making Barefoot Contessa's Roasted Brussel Sprouts! These aren't you mama's mushy sprouts, these bad boys are so yummy and fresh, we love em!

Then I'll be making Giada de Laurentiis' Herb Stuffed Tomatoes I've never made these before but they sound really good!

I'll be whipping up some homeade red skin mashed potatoes as well!

And for the main dish, I got some bourbon and brown sugar soaked salmon from BJ's that we've had before and it's sooooo gooooood!

For dessert I'm making strawberry cupcakes with Cream Cheese frosting! And for an added Valentines touch I'm making the cupcakes in the shape of a heart!

How do I do that? Well all you have to do is place your papers in the cupcake pan and add the batter as you normally would.........then........

After you do that drop a marble or a balled up peice of foil on one side of the paper in between the paper and the pan.....to creat an indent....when the cupcakes cook up you'll have a nice little heart shaped cupcake! Once they're done and cooled just discard the foil or take out the marble. : )

Such a great weekend!

We are enjoying some seriously great weather here in the south right now!!! It was in the 60's and 70's over the weekend and it's supposed to hit 72 tomorrow!?!? Spring and Summer why are you such a tease??? You know I can't handle this because you will leave and then make me go back to the winter weather...you just like to torture me!!! I know it!

My weekend was absolutely fantastic! I'll do a proper recap tonight with lots of pics! But for now let me just say that I caved on the money I have about 10 left I think....not good!

I went to Marshall's on Sunday and got a really cute Limited cardigan on clearance for $13 and then I got two black pairs of work pants that were Limited also....that I am going to have to take back because they don't fit and they are too short as well.

But I have to tell you that I saw this in the picture section and just about died!!! It was a HUGE picture and of course I saw it and thought oh that's too cute but didn't really think too hard on it because I thought it would be too expensive. Well for some reason I decided to take a closer look and what do you think I found out?!?

I'm talking this bad girl was like a 16x20 picture pulled over like a canvas painting but it was a different material!

And I didn't get it ya'll!!!! So I'm going to take my two pairs of pants back and keep my fingers crossed all the way there that no one's bought it!!! Audrey would look good anywhere and I can just save her until we buy a house and then pick out the perfect place for her!

This was my something borrowed. I didn't realize until my bridal luncheon that I didn't have anything borrowed. So my maid of honor let me borrow her beautiful pearl bracelet, it really added a nice touch.
