Mama would be proud ya'll!

Hello lovely blog world!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!!!
Before I show you what Santa brought me, I have to share my super awesome deals I got on a trip to Target last night!
First, my mom got me a Starbucks gift card and I saw these cute little ornaments at the Starbucks kiosk in Target and thought, "what the heck" I'll use part of my gift card and get one of these little bad boys to put on the tree next year. I didn't mind paying the $4.50 for them since I had a gift card. Well I got up to the register $1.29!!!! That's right, like 75% off!!! I promptly turned around and grabbed another one!!! I also got a big desk calendar in the dollar section for .50 cents!!! Originally $1.00 and then I got a couple of sets of ornaments for $1.49!!
And the biggest thing of all!!!! Tonight I'm going back to buy a 7.5 ft prelit Christmas tree for next year.......originally $129.99...........now $35.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh yeah!!!!!! How excited am I?!?!
So all in all, a very satisfactory trip to Target!

@@@@@@@@@@
Now what did Santa bring me?????
I actually bought these cuties for myself at Payless for 16.99 with a 20% off coupon on top of that!!

Hubby gave me some money for Christmas so we took a little trip to the Williamburg outlets and I got this blazer and pants from Brooks Brothers, as well as a couple of shirts for work!!! The whole Brooks Brothers store was 50% off!!! I'm not even kidding!

And finally I took the plunge and am now in the Ugg club!!! I ordered these right before Christmas and I was hoping they'd be here before New Year's but I don't think they are supposed to get here until after. Oh well.................the worst part about this is I've never even tried Ugg's on before, but I just know that I'll love them!!!!

@@@@@@@@@@

And I would like to introduce you to my newest obsession, I'm sure most of you are already familiar or fans of Gossip Girl.........as proof from the Uggs that I just bought above, I'm usually a little late to the party train, but oh my gosh this show is addictive!!!

I ordered the first season on my trusty Netflix account and Hubby watched a couple of episodes with me. About halfway through one of the episodes he turns to me and says, "These people aren't in high school?????!" and I told him they were and this was Manhattan's extremely weathly teens and sadley probably the way that those kids actually live, and yes girls in high school these days tend to look like they are in there 20's. He just looked at me like I was crazy.........men......

To the Cutie Pies in my Life!

Long overdo post about my little angels! My two nieces Lily and Skyler were my flower girls and they couldn't have been cuter or done a better job!!!

Miss Lily being her precious self!Miss Skyler, even though she's very shy, she did a great job!

This is what I gave them as a gift. Vintage Madame Alexander bride dolls in a basket from World Market, and a flower girl book and star wand. I put a bunch of candy (ring pops, candy bracelet and candy necklace) in the basket right before I gave it to them at the rehearsal. They loved it!!

Miss Lily being a big help and holding my ribbon bouquet for me!

YOU DID GOOD GIRLS!!!!! I LOVE YOU ANGELS!

HELP!!!!!!!

My camera is dying! I went to take pictures with it about two weeks ago and it just turned off when I switched it to picture mode. Hubby took it in to see if we could get it fixed and it started working when he turned it on. So last night I was all ready to take a bunch of pictures of our Christmas decorations and this was as far as I got. It just started turning off again!? I think it's at the point of no return. My friend had the same camera and she said that her's just stopped working and it couldn't be fixed.

It's a Sony and it's about 3 years old. Hubby said we need to get a new one so I'm asking you all for your help!! I have no preference I just want to be able to take good pictures. So what do you all use and what do you like??? I'm thinkink maybe a canon or nikon.....I think we'll probably spend around 150-200 on one. HELP!!!!

Secret Santa!

Hi friends! Thank you for your thoughts on the Skype! Hubby and I are going for it and will report back on how it worked for us!

I wanted to share an early Christmas present that I got from one of my BF's! I have a group of 3 BF's and we all get together once a month for dinner to catch up and fix some yummy food. And when Christmas time comes around we draw names, pick a theme, and then get together for Sunday Brunch and exchange our gifts. It's a lot of fun and we always do it early in the month so it really get's us in the spirit!

This year I offered the idea of doing a monogram theme! Since I got married and my other BF just got married as well, I thought it would be fun to get something with our new monogram on it!

Here's what I got! My girlfriend got it from Girly Twirly! I just love their website! And I love this mug, I've been drinking my coffee out of it ever since and I'm sipping on a little coffee with cinnoman vanilla creamer right now...yum!!!
And here's what I gave! This isn't the exact one that I gave my girlfriend but it's pretty similar!

So much fun!!!

(UPDATE!) The fabulous Nina is doing a giveaway! Check it out!! I just love her blog!!

Question?......

I am not done with my Christmas shopping!!!! I'm such a procrastinator! Hubby and I were thinking about getting Skype for us and for his family over in Scotland, so we can actually see each other while we talk. But how does it work??? And is that the best thing to get??? Do any of you lovely readers have any ideas or thoughts or suggestions?

Much appreciated!!!
