This is my first Polyvore so bear with please!  I'm still learning.

I know these Maybelline balms have been around for a while and I've actually had the clear color in the blue tube for over a year.  But just recently I picked up the peach color/flavor in the purple tube and I was hooked from there.  It gives a great subtle color and shine and for $2.99 you can't beat it!  So now every time I go to Target I pick a new one up.  So I've got all of the ones shown above and I pick between the three colors every day.  I don't really wear the clear one since it doesn't give me any color.

The only thing I will say is the balm doesn't actually last very long on your lips, so you'd need to reapply often.

Do you have any of the Baby Lips?  Can you recommend which one I should get next?

Makeup Organization on the Cheap!

Don't you just love when you get inspired by another blogger and they're fabulous ideas?  It's one of my favorite things, honestly!

So when I saw The Bargain Blondes post on $5 Makeup Organization I knew I needed to get my butt in gear and get to organizing!

And after going to the dollar section at my local Target and getting these little buddies.....

The After: So much better right!?

And I already had a little vase from the dollar store so I threw some yummy coffee beans in and there you have it, nothing better than smelling coffee while I'm doing my makeup in the morning! 

Now disclaimer, I still have the drawer from the before photo with stuff in it, I basically just pulled out the makeup that I use a lot because there wasn't enough room for everything.

My February Birchbox

Nothing like procrastinating until the last day of the month to show you my birchbox! : )

I actually had taken a picture of it two weekends ago but never got around to loading it to my computer.  So I'm having to get creative and just take the picture from the birchbox site.

I got Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint which I like but I thought it was a really small sample.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant® which is probably my favorite item.  I tried it and it really did make my face feel so smooth and soft!

Eye Rock Designer Liner - I'm really excited to try this out because I love the cat eye look!

beautyblender® I thought was okay but it really didn't blow me away.  I used it once or twice but prefer my foundation brush actually.

And a cute little heart shaped nail file.

There you go, I'm looking forward to my March Birchbox because I opted for the Teen Vogue box, don't judge!
It promised Essie nail polish and some kind of nice shampoo so heck yeah I'm gonig for that!

Friday Five - My Beauty Essentials

Happy Friday Ya'll!!!

I have officially found the joy of Instagram and I think I'm in love! 

So I thought today for my Friday Five I'd show ya'll some of the products that

 I use on a daily basis an have used for quite a while.  I love them, period.

 

  ~  First up, there's my Curel lotion.  I have really dry and sensitive skin and am prone to eczema, but this lotion keeps my skin soft and eczema free without any harsh perfumes or chemicals, love it!

~ Next, is my TRESemme Hairspray.  Ya'll I have tried so many different harisprays over the years and this is the absolute best for the money!  It holds your style in place without making it feel like you've got dried glue in your hair.  If I didn't put this in my hair then my style would go flat in about 60 seconds.

~ On to my Bronzer.  These are actually from Europe, I have my in-laws bring me a couple of bottles whenever they come for a visit.  The europeans know what they're doing when it comes to fake tans.  The Fake Don't Bake is the first sunless tanner that I've ever been able to wear that doesn't give that burnt skin smell after a while (I can't stand that) and trust me I've tried almost all sunless tanners out there as I am of the pale variety. ; )  I think you can order these online, but I'm not 100% sure. And I use this every other day so I can stretch out my tan. 

~ Ladies if you haven't tried Rimmel nail polish then you're missing out!  This is by far my absolute favorite nail polish for the money!  At $3 some dollars it's a steal.  The brush is a fanning brush so you get the color on evenly and I usually paint my nails on Sunday night and my nails are perfect until the next weekend!  Awesome!

~ This last product my SIL introduced me to a few years back.  It's Soap & Glory hand cream.  It smells like the perfume Chanel Mademoiselle, it's heavenly!  And you can get this at Sephora for like $5.  My purse is never without this hand cream.
