Getting Ready for North Pole Breakfast!

Hi Friends!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate lots of Turkey.

Today I'm sharing our North Pole Breakfast 2016 (in case any of you need some last minute inspiration) 😉

I had such a fun time putting this together for John last year and I'm excited to do it again this year and keep the tradition going!

For anyone that's not familiar, the North Pole Breakfast is where the Elf on the Shelf returns to your house for the month of December to watch your little one(s) and report back to Santa each night only to return in the morning and usually causing some mischief.

I love our Elf, Elfie at first but towards the end I'm ready for him to hit the road!

Christmas - 2010

We had a great White Christmas this year!  And I'm so excited because I got a Nikon D3000!!! So I'm a picture taking fool now!

Yeah, I don'nt know what kind of face I'm making here!!

Hope ya'll had a great Christmas too!! : )

Now it's time to get this place cleaned up!  When Christmas is over I always get in the mood to go through my closets and do a good clean out, get rid of the clothes I don't wear anymore, make room for the new stuff (or the things I'll buy in the January sales!) and just get into organization mode to start the year off right!

How about ya'll, does anyone else do this?

Black or Chocolate Uggs!!! I got my light tan one's last year and I L.O.V.E them dearly!!! They are by far the most comfortable shoes I own and would love some more : )

The Pioneer Woman cookbook!!! Spa treatment, I don't need a whole day just a massage or a facial will do!

I'm a scarf finatic, you can actually find me in a scarf all year long, I just love them! They're the perfect accessory and I've wanted an actual Love Quotes Scarf for the longest time!
Yes, you're seeing that right, I want a kitty cat too! :)

Rain Boots! With all of the rain we've been having in our area lately I definitely need some rain boots in my closet!!

Martha Stewart Dutch Oven in either color! ; >

And the Michael Kor's Gold Bracelet Watch!!! Love it!! And I don't have a gold watch, so it would be practical too!

That's not too much right???? ; )

Getting into the Holiday Spirit!

I'm really getting into the holiday spirit now! With the wedding done and Thanksgiving right around the corner I'm starting to think about what I'm going to do for Christmas. So I thought I'd share something really great with you!

A couple of years ago I commented on how cute my sister-in-laws wrapping paper was and she told me about how she bought all of her Christmas wrapping paper from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital website ......not only do they donate 100% of the profits, after all the expenses are paid, to the research hospital but the wrapping paper you purchase is actually art work done by the children at St. Jude's!
I just thought that was the neatest thing and what a wonderful way to spend your money.....you're going to buy wrapping paper anyway, how great to be able to help this cause at the same time!
They also have these really cute ornaments as well! They'd make a great co-worker gift!

(All images from the St. Jude's website)

And how cute are these little cheese spreaders.......so if you're having trouble thinking of what to get someone you should definitely check the site out, they've got some great stuff and it'll make you feel good too! : )
