Wine Taste Girl's Summer Fashion Link Up...Sundresses

Hey everyone!  I hope ya'lls memorial day weekend was fun and relaxing, I know mine was and I didn't want it to end!

I'm so excited to be linking up with Shannon over at Wine Taste Girl for her Summer Fashion Link Up!  Summertime is so much fun with all of the dresses, sandals, bangles, and more!  I live in sundresses and maxis because they're so comfortable and you can easily dress them up or down depending on the occasion.

My new favorite Sundress, that I actually bought for a wedding a couple of weeks ago, is this little number!  It plays on the color blocking trend with the orange and fuschia (purple/pink to me) and is so breezy and comfortable I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it!

So fun!
Now ya'll, I have to tell you I have never been able to take good pics of myself, ever!!
But I really wanted to show what the dress looks like on so here are a few so you can kind of see how it looks, please excuse the weird face and the super pale skin, this girl needs to get on the self-tanner!

Why yes that is two mirrors you're seeing and the second mirror is actually on a stool that's just how I roll! haha

I can't wait to see everyone else's favorite Summer fashions and get some inspiration!!
Go check out Wine Taste Girl for more!

Taking Pictures of Myself?????

What the heck!!!???? I cannot take a dag-gon decent picture of myself to save my life!!!! I've tried everything!!

I tried sitting the camera down and putting it on timer....not so much!

The in the mirror picture....hmmmm...hello blurry!!

This is just a complete disaster....what's wrong with your face...you look like a football player!

I give up!

Here's the awesome dress that Hubby gave me for valentine's...I'm only a couple of weeks late in showing this to you ; )

Hubby did a great job with this dress!!! I'd had my eye on it for a while and luckily it's from a shop that our good friend owns called Eurotrash in Carytown!!! So she knew that I had my eye on it and he really didn't even need to think about it! Awesome!!

I will be living in this dress all summer!!!! (this is just a little outfit I put together)

He also bought be the darker pearl bracelet from Stella & Dot (the lighter one he got me for Christmas) Hubby did good!!!! I'm a sucker for pearls, I'd wear them everyday if I could!

Okay, hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!!!

Hubby and I are off to see Shutter Island.....eeeeee, looks a little scary!!!!! Can't wait!

My Beautiful Maids

After Fiance and I got engaged and we finally started thinking about what we wanted our wedding to be we decided that we definitely wanted a small wedding party. So I asked my two best girlfriends to be my Maid of Honor and my Martron of Honor and then Fiances sister to be my Bridesmaid. As a side note I am the only girl of five, yes that means I have four brothers! It wasn't that bad, really! And then Fiance asked three of his close soccer buddies to be his groomsmen and one of them is going to be his Best Man. As I said in an earlier post Fiance is from Scotland and all of his childhood friends are spread out all over the world so he wanted to keep it easy and just ask the local peeps. His sister is still in Scotland though but it hasn't been bad because we always talk over email and I update her on all of the wedding plans AND I picked out the bridesmaids dresses early on and was able to take hers to her over Christmas! Speaking of dresses here is what I chose for the ladies!

They are wearing the black because the groomsmen are wearing kilts, so I figured black would go with them the best. I haven't 100% decided if I want them to wear the sash with it or not. I might just let them go without. The best thing about this dress is that I got them from Target online for only 89.99 plus free shipping for them. The worst thing about this dress is that the only way into it is through those buttons you see on the back and while I love the way it looks it's a bit of a pain to button up, so I think the girls might get a zipper put in the side.

But I'm really excited about them and think they are going to look oh so pretty!! But what do you all think sash or no?
