Ya'll guessed it! I'm giving away Ree's Pioneer Woman Cookbook!!!
Would you like to know why???
Please take a look at the picture below and pay no attention to my tired looking face it was the end of the day and I've been feeling a little under the weather friends.
So here's the quick story on how I ended up with two copies of the cookbook.....
Preface: I gave Hubby my Christmas list with everything I wanted on it back in November.
~
Beginning of December: Having just come back to the house from shopping.....
~
Me: Hey honey, look what I got (holds copy of the Pioneer Woman Cookbook)
~
Hubby: I thought that was on the list??
~
Me: It is, but I didn't think you'd actually get it for me so I got it so you wouldn't forget it, I'm not going to look at it I'm keeping it in the Barnes and Noble bag and you can wrap it up and give it to me on Christmas.
~
Hubby: Why don't you just use it now?
~
Me: Beeecccaauusee it's on my Christmas List and I want you to give it to me.
~
Hubby: okay (not really paying attention at this point becuase the soccer's come back on the tv)
~
~~~~~~~~
Fast foward to a week before Christmas: Me in the kitchen maybe using said wrapped up in barnes and noble bag cookbook to make Ree's famous cinnamon rolls.
~
Hubby: (walks into Kitchen and sees cookbook) Where'd you get that?!
~
Me: What? (wiping hand over forhead leaving lots of flour behind)
~
Hubby: the cookbook?!
~
Me: oh, well I needed to use it!! It's the Cinnamon Rolls!!!
~
Hubby: (leaves kitchen and goes upstairs, comes back down with another barnes and noble bag with Ree's The Pioneer Woman Cookbook in it and places it on the counter)
~
Me: what did you get that for? I told you I had already gotten the cookbook for you to give me!
~
Hubby: No you didn't!
~
Me: I SHOWED you the cookbook punk!!
~
Hubby: No you didn't!
~
Me: UGH!!
~
Hubby: You can just return one of them and pick somehting else out.
~
Me: (lightbulb goes off over my head) I'll do a giveaway on my blog!!!
~
Hubby: That's a GREAT idea!
~
Everyone's happy. The End.
~
Seriously, that's pretty much how it happened!
