Fall Wreath!

Hi Friends!  I'm so excited about this little craft project that I just completed!  I saw this post over at Thrifty Decor Chick and thought, I can totally do that!!!

All you need is a piece of foam board and some fall leaves from the Dollar Tree and a red crayon if you don't have any spray paint like me.  That's it!!!  Now I did a few different things to mine, like just cutting the foam board out with a knife and scissors, I think Thrifty Decor Chick used a jigsaw (I don't own one of those).  And she spray painted her square and I just colored mine, worked fine.

I did measure a 20 x 20 piece and then went four inches on each side and cut the middle out.  And her leaves were different than mine, I couldn't find those nifty little packets that she was talking about so I just went with the basic leave bunches, you know that you could add to a vase or something like that.  And just plucked them off the stems and ended up with two leaves per bunch.

I bought 5 bunches and just organized the leaves all around with a hot glue gun and 30 minutes later.................TA-DA!!!  I really like the way it turned out!  I'm actually giving it to a girlfriend of mine because she's been looking for a fall wreath for a couple weeks now.

So for a total of 7 dollars (5 for the leaves and 2 for the foam board) you too can have a shabby fall wreath that will work right through Thanksgiving!

And this is a very random little tid-bit but I cleaned out my junk drawer in the kitchen.  Everyone's got one right?  Our got out of control so I pulled everything out and reorganized it, but I don't feel like you can really tell a big difference.  I think I need to get those little bins from Target that organize things for you??  The after is the first one! : )

TGIF tomorrow!!!!
