Less then a Month!!

It is officially less then a month before the wedding!!!!! I can't believe it! I went last night and got the program paper for my DIY programs. I also got my second bridal shower dress and shoes!!! I went to Ross (for those who don't know it's like a TJ Maxx or Marshalls) and found a super cute ivory and black dress and then I saw some oh so cute red/hot pink pumps to wear with it.....I wanted a splash of color!

For the centerpeices at the reception I decided to use pictures of Fiance and I instead of flowers. I'm using pictures of us in our travels! Here are a few examples.....
This is us in Rome right in front of St. Peters Basilica minutes after Fiance had proposed to me!
This is us in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
This is us at Mt. Serrat in Spain
At the beach in Lloret de Mar, Spain.
At a sightseeing spot overlooking Florence.

I thought that it would be a fun twist to flowers on the table that people probably wouldn't even notice anyway. I think we have about eight tables that we are going to put pictures on and I got some frames for them last night at Ross. I'll probably just put a little card beside each frame that tells where we are.

Did you or are you doing anything different for your table arrangements or any other decorating for your reception?

  1. We're using wooden sailboats. The reception is at a marina and I am allergic to flowers, so I just couldn't justify spending a FORTUNE on something I don't even like anyway!

  2. That's a great idea! They'll be so cute! And I'm right there with you on the spending a fortune for the flowers...just not worth it to me!

  3. I love your new layout! What a cool photo! We did childhood pictures of D and I, and people seemed to get a kick out of it.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. We're using candles - but in vintage cut and mis-matched glass. I think it'll be really unusual and pretty.

I like your idea! Cool pictures!

  6. So exciting!
For the table numbers at my wedding my mom quilled (that rolling paper craft) all of them.

  7. I tossed a coin in the Trevi Fountain to make SURE I would go back there some day : ) I posted some Italy photos on my blog as well...and even fantasized at one point getting married there. But we will have to settle for Georgia!
