What I've been up to....Working Out....

Dear Jillian, you're kicking my butt up, down, and around the block and I can't decide if I like it or not.

I don't know if I can trust you because you said that after 4-5 times of doing this workout it would get easier. But lady, it.is.not!!! I think you're just crazy but I'm gonna keep doing your workout and hopefully I'll see some results eventually....
Me after finishing the 30 day shred workout.......level 1..... :-I

yup, still there.....staring at the ceiling....

What I like to do when I'm finally able to drag myself off the flooor....

Watch some Paula Deen.....

Dear Paula, I think you're crazy too, but I love you too much to care!!!

So I'd like to ask a couple of questions for you workout babes out there...

Have you tried the 30 day shred and do you like it?

Do you prefer to workout in the morning or in the afternoon? I personally can't get into the working out in the morning, it just doesn't mesh with me.....

  1. I really REALLY want to do this workout, but live in a tiny apt. with wood floors & neighbors underneath me. I would not appreciate it if someone like me was bouncing around above me for an hour or whatever! Maybe when I move! I like your pics - that would also be myself after just about any workout, ha!

  2. I have been using 30 Day Shred, but got tired of the same old routine. I had heard several success stories with P90x. It's kicking my butt, but I'm sticking with it! I like to workout at night because I am not a morning person. I can't get up an extra hour early in the morning to workout=yuck! I workout around 9 and it also wears me out so I'm more sleepy for bed. Good luck with 30 Day Shred! Just keep on and it will get easier!:)

  3. Piper I can totally relate to the tiny apartment, but fortunately for me theirs a business underneath of me instead of neighbors (and I do my workout after 5) so I don't feel so bad jumping around haha!

  4. I've been using 30 day shred for awhile and I LOVE it...it still kicks my butt my I feel so much stronger and my clothes are getting looser which is great! I could NEVER work out in the morning so I always do it right when I get home from work.

  5. I bought the 30 Day Shred today right before I purchased the towels. How funny is that! I haven't tried the workout yet, but I can't wait! I need Jillian's help!

  6. Okay, so my prior comment sounds like I bought 30 Day Shred at J.C. Penney. I actually stopped by Best Buy before J.C. Penney! :)

  7. Good for you for sticking with the 30 day shred! I want to order it, I want to lose weight, I want to become a runner, I want to be more fit...but I need to find the MOTIVATION!!! I feel so lazy when it comes to diet and exercise, but I am not lazy at anything else. Crazy! Sorry, I didn't mean to get into all of this :-/

  8. I've tried the 30 Day Shred but haven't been able to do it consistently because I'm always so sore afterwards. I'm not a morning person but I have to admit that I always feel better after working out in the morning.

  9. MAN! I feel ya! I get her workouts for free on my cable box. I was in a phase where I was working out pretty often at the gym, and doing some classes, and her 30 day shred was pretty similar. When I did it back then, it kicked my butt, but I made it through. I have been in a rut for about a month now of not so much gym time, and decided to do a Jillian workout the other day, and whew! I didn't exactly make it through every part of it without stopping. I have worked out in the morning on the weekends a few times, but that's when morning was about 8/9. I just don't think I could drag myself to do it any earlier than that. I am NOT a morning person!

  12. I totally understand! I tried the 30 day shred, but I was unable to do the pushups!! It seemed like I wouldn't get the full benifit without that, so I gave up...should I try again?

Hang in there!! It will be worth it!!

  13. I haven't tried it but the hubby and I just ordered it and will hopefully get to start later this week. I'm a bit of a pansy (and he is too for that matter!) when it comes to working out, so I'll admit, you've got me about worried about surviving this thing!!

  14. she is THE DEVIL. i hate her for the whole 20-odd minutes of the shred....we've got two more days of level one, and while i have been able to walk normally, unlike the first 3 days....she's still kicking my butt.

  15. I've done it and i don't think it gets eaiser! She's tough!
Your pictures made me laugh and feel a whole lot better because that was me laying on our cool kitchen floor after her work out!
You've inspired me to start doing the work out again!

  17. I have been doing the Shred for about a week now. I love it! I had been a big time workout person, but then I got pregnant, had the bebe and suddenly had zero time to workout. I love how the Shred is only 20 min. I was exhausted the first time I did it, but it got a little easier the next day. I even moved up to level 2 over the weekend. Good luck!

  18. I love this workout video! I did it for 30 days, give or take a couple, and saw great results. Then we went on vacation and I got out of the routine. Don't worry I did level one probably 15ish times before I felt ready to move onto level 2.
