So I have a non wedding related post to share with you. I do want this blog to be about everything not just weddings, but it's really hard right now becuase I'm so obsessed with getting the wedding planned and all! :)
I went to Italy with Fiance in the summer of 2006 and it was amazing! If you ever get the chance to go you should jump at it! Anyway while we were in Florence we stumbled upon a photo shoot and Fiance told me that they were recreating an old photo that was taken back in the 50's.
I was fascinated by it so when I got back home I researched the photo and found out that it was Ruth Orkin's 1951 photo named 'American Girl in Italy' which actually is quite famous.
I'm definitely going to do something with the photos I have above, maybe make them into a black and white and put them side by side with the original. I just love it, it's so classic!

ReplyDeleteOh... and on the subject of lists... I'm not kidding about this, I once made a list of things I needed to make lists about before we went on vacation!!! So yeah, I'll see you at list-maker's rehab:) haha
ummm...unfortunately I can totally relate to the lists of lists, I love it, it makes me happy! There's got to be something wrong with me! Oh well! : )
